     Port Orchard Community Theater is proud to present our kids summer workshop, Disney’s Sleeping Beauty for Kids.  This is a two-week workshop that teaches kids every aspect of participating in a musical theater production.  Each participant will be cast in both a chorus role and as a featured performer so everyone will have the opportunity to be in the spotlight!  During the workshop, they will learn music, choreography, acting and teamwork.

     The cost of the workshop is $150.00 per person and must be paid in full by June 30, 2008.  To register, mail in your registration form along with a deposit of $50.00 to:  POCT, 4974 Lakeview Pl. SE, Port Orchard, WA  98367.  Space will be limited to thirty (30) participants, so make your reservations early.  The cost of the workshop includes a cast member book which makes a wonderful keepsake of their workshop experience, with its memory pages and autograph section.  They also receive a Family Matters book to get the whole family involved in the theater experience, and a souvenir T-shirt with all the names of cast, crew and workshop staff.

        We are also looking for youth ages 14--18 to volunteer to work with us.  These volunteers will gain valuable experience in areas of set design, lighting and sound design, costuming and all areas of backstage production. We want volunteers who enjoy working with and mentoring youth.   Volunteers will also receive a souvenir Tshirt.
